Job Description

Salary Range: $162,000 – 240,000

Position Summary:

Manager, Operation Systems Analyst improves the efficiency of operations through data collection, analysis, and reporting at the Divisional level to support operations. They will participate in setting the strategic direction of the organization’s MRP structures, policies, and functional performance, and passionately drive continuous improvements that exceed internal and external customer expectations. They will be expected to:

  • Collaborates cross functionally to define and implement processes, related tools and metrics that resolve complex operational issues
  • Own Divisional level support for Operations data needed for corporate responsibilities.
  • Participates in business process analysis and process improvement on assigned projects.
  • Co-lead on the Materials Team SMEs for ERP/MRP setups for new implementations.
  • Understand business requirements and how to translate them into meaningful reports for both customers and leaders.


Key
Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate improvement events related to Operational objectives.
  • Direct reports may include reporting MRP performance, SOP design, training, audits
  • Act as the Systems subject matter expert with a process focus from planning through fulfillment and ERP/MRP implementation.
  • Directly support ASD level Business and Leaders
  • Develops, builds, and maintains Divisional Operations related SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Support data analysis needed for strategic analysis
  • Evaluate and alert the internal team about risk. Propose and execute action plans to mitigate.
  • Define comprehensive business requirements with key Operational planning principles, make the right business case for applications, or features that support our operations
  • Act as Project Manager for larger improvement projects or multi-site projects.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in current workflows and processes that can help improve efficiency and visibility
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
  • Support the data analysis for Operational initiatives and ISO or other compliance requirements.
  • Measure performance and report to management.
  • Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes


Education and Experience:

  • Experience in medical industry is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in building integrated supply chain systems
  • Prefer a candidate that has experience across several operational disciplines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Requires travel 8-12 trips per year, averaged throughout an annual basis.
  • Proven record of managing and driving Continuous Process Improvement activities. Strong analytical skills, ability to identify root cause for action/resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or Engineering.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in large-scale ERP systems deployment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with a bias toward action.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape
  • Certification in American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), also know as the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) and a certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and/or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
