We specialize in Open Systems Architecture solutions for the non-kinetic fight. Our vision provides cost-effective, highly capable, modular, and rapidly reconfigurable systems to our customers in less than half the time of traditional defense contractors. Our team delivers sensing and effects solutions for the Land, Air, Sea, and Space domains at an unprecedented pace. We accomplish this strategy by combining broad domain experience in EW, SIGINT, and Communications with a go-fast commercial execution model. Our model fully leverages Open Standards, like SOSA, CMOSS, and MORA, as well as rapid prototyping methodologies to bring our advanced capabilities to customers.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead and execute business growth initiatives. The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating customer and strategic industry partnerships, and driving revenue generation. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Who are we looking for?

The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for establishing and implementing a vision of supply chain excellence. Manage and coordinate efforts of personnel in roles of Planning, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics by documenting processes and best practices for these business activities. Other duties may be assigned. Build partnerships with suppliers with the objective of improving vendor performance and cost reduction. Responsible for presenting supply chain status and KPI metrics to executive staff. Continually improve supply chain processes, documentation, and records. Participate in the implementation of tools and applications for supply chain management, including ERP/MRP systems. Develop skills of the supply chain team by mentoring and training

Requirements

  • Identify and manage risks within the supply chain, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure optimal performance and career development.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery.
  • Develop and implement robust demand planning processes to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing supply chain technologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound business decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and systems.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities, with experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (at least 8-10 years) in supply chain management, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in Defense.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
