Director Of Quality Jobs

A very reputable and growing manufacturing organization seeks to hire a Site Quality Director at their flagship production campus in the Syracuse, NY area. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the quality department personnel and quality processes. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify and rectify quality issues/concerns through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead internal and external auditing activities.
• Identify, track, and act upon quality metrics and KPIs.
• Serve as a primary liaison for customers and other internal stakeholders on quality issues.
• Serve as organizational Quality SME, defining and driving quality assurance strategies that properly support product development and process implementation.
• Direct and develop QA and QC personnel for the site.
• Seek out and deliver Lean and Continuous Improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of formalized leadership/management experience.
• Extensive familiarity with formalized quality standards (ISO, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Quality Assurance, etc.) required.
• 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience within manufacturing environment(s).
