Director Of Manufacturing Jobs

Penta Search Group has been engaged by one of our Consumer Goods clients who are a global leading sleep company. They are looking to hire a Director of Manufacturing for the Coxsackie, NY facility. Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall operations at an assigned plant including, but not limited to, supply management, production scheduling, manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, maintenance, people management, and implementation of change initiatives

• Develops and manages budget for site operations

• Builds a safety culture and drives the implementation of safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work-related injuries

• Supervises schedules and evaluates the work performance of direct and indirect reports

• Plans, monitors and directs production and establish priorities, balancing effective customer service and cost factors and optimizing utilization of people and equipment within a just-in time environment

Education/Qualifications

• 7 - 10 Years' experience in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, logistics and quality control

• 5+ Years' experience in Safety and Risk programs

• Lean Manufacturing experience - green belt preferred
