Position Responsibilities:
1. Facilitates quarterly operating review meetings with employed physicians and Sr. VP of Finance to review physician practice financial statements, billing/reimbursement & volume trending activity.
2. Maintains the objectives and strategy for the department and ensures they are linked to the Medical Center's objectives and strategies.
3. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all employed physician practice operations for MSMC.
4. Ensures consistent communication and review with Revenue Integrity manager and Revenue Cycle departments to enable appropriate & compliant billing & collections.
5. Responsible for the design, furnishing, staffing, schedules and system integration of new offices.
6. Oversees physician practice staffing recruitment and onboarding to insure levels are adequate to operate appropriately.
7. Ensures practice compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
8. Provides analyses/budgets to AVP regarding ongoing and new projects
9. Develops relationships with external entities for the purpose of identifying additional volume/services/income opportunities.
10. Oversees and develops Physician Administration management staff.
11. Works proactively with other departments toward strategic initiatives and goals.
12. Develops content along with management team for monthly meetings with Office Coordinators to share information and create educational opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree in related area preferred.
10 years of experience in Managed Care
