Brightview Senior Living looking for a passionate RN to fill the role ofHealth Services Director (DON / Resident Care Director)at Brightview in Sayville, NY.

The Health Services Director(sometimes known as the Director of Nursing or Resident Care Director) exemplifies the vision, the mission, and the vibrancy of the organization and leads the delivery of exceptional clinical care to our residents.

In this role, you will develop and lead a team of Licensed Nursing Associates and provide clinical supervision to MedTechs and Resident Assistants (HHAs). Under your leadership, the team will work together to implement comprehensive resident care plans that meet the high Brightview standards of nursing practice and comply with appropriate regulations.

• Work with the residents' physicians and medical personnel on the best plan of action for their continued care.
• It will be important to inspire your team as a leader. You may need to implement corrective action.
• Monitor the accurate delivery of medications to our residents.
• You will get to provide nursing assessments and care oversight and identify clinical trends for Assisted Living residents and for those in our Wellspring Village who receive memory care support.

This is a critical role within theBrightview community leadership team, and allows for the opportunity to create a dramatic and positive impact on our residents' ability to live an active, vibrant life!

Pay Range

$125,000 to $131,000

The salary range displayed above is the potential pay available for this role. The candidate's offer will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Further, our ranges and associate pay rates are reviewed for adjustments at least once per year.

With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:

• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership skills as well as the desire to work well as a contributor in a team environment.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in geriatric nursing or gerontology and dementia care (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a health care supervisory role (preferred).
• Solid computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
• RN license required
• The ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem solving skills to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues.
