The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions has an Immediate opening for an Executive Director of Nursing. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our academic community.

What you will do:
- Oversee processes to ensure all sites meet accreditation and regulatory standards and take appropriate action if a remedy is needed
- Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timelines
- Work collaboratively with operational partners to assure student success and faculty excellence
- Travel to assigned ABSN sites based on agreed-upon schedule and as needed
- Direct problem-solving and quality improvement initiatives
- Responsible for supervision, support, goal setting, training, and coaching of assigned Director of Nursing Services (DNS)
- Responsible for successful ABSN site preparation and program launch in their assigned markets
- Develop and manage operational and capital budgets for assigned ABSN sites through established processes
- Work with each Director of Nursing to maintain clinical partnership relationships at each ABSN site and develop new clinical site agreements
What you will need:
- Multi-site/multi-state leadership experience preferred
- Active, current, and unencumbered RN license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required Multi-state RN license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience preferably in higher education
- CNE or CNEcl preferred
- Graduate degree in nursing required and Doctorate degree preferred from an accredited program (CCNE or ACEN) within a regionally accredited college or university
- Evidence of participation in regulatory and/or accreditation activities/accountabilities
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing practice with demonstrated evidence of high-level accountability for systems-level outcomes (including management of human resources) during that time
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Prior nursing leadership experience required; Academic leadership experience strongly preferred
