As a Director, Business Development and Sales you will aggressively pursue (Hunt) new business with the goal of developing and closing Origin Cargo Management and adjacent services in markets where there is strong competition and a limited Century presence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

• Interact effectively and communicate clearly with company colleagues at all levels.
• Build and promote the Century brand in the marketplace.
• Actively target, seek out, cultivate, and establish new business for Century.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Produce sales reports, develop and achieve sales goals and analyze metrics utilizing Sales Force CRM and other propriety software.
• Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the full scope of the company’s services, including origin operations, systems, destination services, etc.
• Develop client call cycle to achieve objectives, sales plan and follows up on leads.
• Make joint sales calls with Operational Team members to develop business for mutual group companies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Industry experience in international supply chain, logistics or transportation preferred.
• Ability to analyze and develop sales and business development metrics and achieve sales quotas.
• Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills required.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in international logistics/transportation industry.
• Relevant marketing or business development experience required.
• Ability to travel is required at between 25% to 60% of time, depending on region.
• Experience with Sales Force CRM or other CRM software preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to acquire and grow client base.
