IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for a Director of Finance for our Cincinnati, Ohio client. We are looking for a talented financial individual that has Director level experience in the Senior / Assisted Living community space. More than anything, we are looking for a great teammate, good communicator and someone who is detail oriented. Bring your energy and great vibe with you! This is a direct hire, full-time position. Salary compensation: $100,000+ based on your skill and experience determined by discussion with the hiring manager.
Position Summary
The Director of Finance contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks for the organization. We are specifically looking for an individual that has several years working in the Senior/Assisted living community space.
Responsibilities

- Financial accounting and reporting
- Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that associates are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects.
- Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with GAAP.
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation.
- Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain an environment of proper internal controls.
Required Education and Experience
- Experience in senior living/assisted living
- Proficient in the use of computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Database Management
- >5 years of progressive financial responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Initially responsible for taking on the sales role in the Southeast Territory which would include Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North & South Carolina
