Strategic Finance Director Jobs

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Director to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Develop and implement the company's financial strategies in alignment with its long-term objectives and growth plans.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships to support the company's growth objectives.
• Analyze financial feasibility and potential risks of strategic initiatives to guide decision-making.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to the executive team.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Operations, and Marketing to understand business dynamics and align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Create and present comprehensive financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess various business scenarios, evaluate performance, and support strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Prior Big 4 or public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• 8+ years in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a strategic or corporate finance capacity.
• Experience in capital allocation, investment analysis, and M&A activities.
• Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and addressing challenges.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading financial planning processes and driving positive outcomes.
