Overview


Cirkul is looking for a Director of Field Marketing to join our Growth Marketing team and report to our Vice President of Growth. This role will be responsible for building our field marketing program from the ground up. This includes oversight and development of a team as well as the strategic planning and execution of in-person brand activations across the country to introduce new consumers to the Cirkul brand and our multiple beverage lines.


The ideal candidate must be experienced in building teams and field marketing programs with large-scale activations. They must be highly data driven, able to derive data driven insights from events to optimize efforts. Additionally, we need someone willing to roll up their sleeves as needed to support your team as they manage vendors, third-party partners, and individual brand ambassadors to deliver experiences that drive first-time customer sales. This role will collaborate closely with our Brand Manager and creative, paid, social, and email marketing teams. Regular travel to support events across the country is required.


Responsibilities


  • Provide in-person on-the-ground support where necessary
  • Build out our field marketing road map, strategically identifying and managing high-profile, large scale opportunities where Cirkul can have an in-person presence
  • Manage strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, agencies, and freelance brand ambassadors
  • Measure and report out the impact of our field marketing efforts, ensuring we’re reaching the right audience and having a significant impact on brand awareness, affinity, consideration, and sales
  • Manage and adhere to budget parameters for the field marketing program and individual events
  • Partner closely with external client & internal fulfillment, logistics, & supply chain teams to resource product needed to supply events to ensure it arrives on time & cost effectively
  • Oversee management of brand activation events from ideation through execution, supporting both existing sponsorships/partnerships and new initiatives
  • Create and report out KPIs to measure event and activation success, including trackability of new customer sales driven by in-person samples or engagement and establishing ROI of brand events
  • Work with the creative team to develop swag, messaging, and signage that is true to Cirkul’s brand and amplifies our mission, products, and brand story
  • Hire, develop, and mentor a field marketing team


Qualifications


  • Ability to travel across the country regularly to support these events on the ground
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously: superb time management and prioritization ability
  • 4+ years of CPG or Food/Bev brand experience
  • Comfortability using data to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: the ability to communicate with both internal stakeholders across departments and external partners to manage timelines, details, and expectations
  • Proven experience building out field marketing teams and programs
  • Detail-oriented individual with excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant industry experience you have delivered successful in-person events with measurable sales outcomes
