The Director of Early Learning works under the CEO to ensure our early childhood developmentcentersareperforming at thehigheststandardofquality.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities:

• Assist CEO in all aspects of center operations and program development of the early learningcenters.

·Assist all program directors will all quality early education initiatives including, but notlimited to assessment and screenings tools, hiring teaching candidates and maintainingqualityteachingstaffandhigh-levelclassroominteractions.

·CommunicatethegoalsandstandardsofChild'sPathtotheCenterDirectorsandprogramstaff

·Support program staff and directors while encouraging them to meet goals

·Conduct weekly meetings with Center Directors as need and monthly meetings with allthedirectorstogether

·Promotesprofessionalimageofthecenters

·Promotesasenseofcommunitybetweencentersand centraloffice

·Monitorsalloperationalfacetsoftheearlylearningcenters

·KeepsabreastofcurrentinformationinthefieldofEarlyChildhoodEducation

·Evaluates each teacher in each center with pre & post CLASS assessments annually andprovidefeedbacktothedirectorstoplandevelopmentalneeds.

·Maintainscommunication withtheCEOandsharesallpertinentinformation

·Reviewsandapprovespurchaseof suppliesandequipment

·Isreadilyavailabletocenterdirectorsandassistsin fillingin,intheirabsence.

·Develop, plan, and conduct teacher training programs and curriculum, new classroomprocedures,instructionalmaterials andequipment, andteaching aids

·Rotatesbetweenallfourcentersandworksprimarilyatthecenterleveltoensureahigh-qualityprogramenvironment.

·Confer with members of educational committees and advisory groups to obtainknowledge of subject areas and to related curriculum materials to specific subjects,individual studentneeds,andoccupational areas

·Assist in the grant writing process as needed.Providing program data,assisting withchoosing and purchasing items, and providing information regarding reportingrequirements

·Research, evaluate, and prepare recommendations on curricula, instructional methods,andmaterials asneeded

·Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation and consistentquality,communication, andtimelinessofstrategicgoals

·Maintainaccuracyofdata andpreparereports asneeded

·Monitorscenter’sprogresstowardshigh-qualitycareandeducation

·Participatesinthebudgetaryprocessinvolvingearlylearningofprograms

·Ensureallprogramsarerunningappropriately

·Contributetotheoverallsuccessoftheagency

·Specialprojectsorduties asrequired

Skills/KnowledgeRequired:

·Comfortwithtechnology,especiallyMicrosoftOfficesoftware,ProCare,TeachingStrategies Gold SoftwareandknowledgeofCreativeCurriculum

·Five(5)yearofexperienceinearlychildhoodpreferred

·45-hourDCFMangerTrainingoreducationexemption

·Mustmaintain therequired24hoursofcontinuoustrainingperyear

·HasorwillearnFloridaDirector’scredentialwithinsix(6)months

·Excellentoralandwrittencommunicationskills,presentation,andinterpersonalskills

·Energetic,outgoing,professional,detailedanddriventoexceedgoals

MinimumEducation/ExperienceRequirements:

·Bachelor’sDegreeorhigherfromanaccreditedinstitutionofhighereducation

·Active Florida Director’s Credential

·Five(5)year’sprofessionalexperienceinearlyeducation–relatedenvironment

·MustbeproficientintheEnglishlanguage, writtenandoral

PhysicalRequirements:

·LocaltravelbetweencenterswithinCollierCountyandadministrationoffices

·Abilitytolift upto50lbs.
