Job Title: Director of Enrollment Training

Reporting Relationship: Executive Director of Coaching and Educational Sales

Unit: National & Global

Summary of Position: The Director of Program Training and Enrollment Learning Experience Designer is responsible for identifying training material needs and working with the appropriate teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to coordinate the design, development, maintenance, implementation, and assessment of training and program materials. Their role is to ensure all Strategic Enrollment and Partnership (SEP) staff have the most up-to-date resources to deliver the best possible student experience and reach organizational goals.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for writing, editing, and maintaining training content
  • Determine and utilize applicable software tools and technologies in the creation of training materials, such as job aides, video and written tutorials, quizzes, guides, manuals, templates, practice and role play exercises, worksheets, and other activities
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training events and meetings
  • Design and develop engaging and effective training materials and resources using a variety of techniques and tools to enhance knowledge retention for virtual learners and in-person learning experiences, as applicable
  • Support Executive Director of Coaching and Educational Sales in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training resources for the SEP teams for the purposes of employee onboarding, systems and technical competencies, process compliance, and skills development
  • Other special projects as needed
  • Collaborate and partner with academic leaders and program sponsors to prioritize and develop training for front-line staff on new and existing programs offered by IWU National & Global (N&G)
  • Project manages simultaneous training projects, requests and manages time to deliver with excellence and within agreed upon timeframes
  • Communicates effectively with enrollment leaders and other staff to ensure successful training implementation and gather feedback
  • Apply industry-standard methods and strategies for assessing and measuring effectiveness of training materials and events

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a training or educational role working with adult learners
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in educational sales, admissions, or enrollment counseling
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse communities and cultures preferred
