Company Description:

We’re currently working with a rapidly growing consumer products startup that has figured out the secret to creating viral marketing campaigns. Now they are looking for an analytically minded Director of Demand Planning to build out their forecasting process and ultimately help them solve the question of how online impressions impact sales.

Position Description:

• Working closely with 1 direct report to design, build and implement the demand planning / forecasting process for the entire business.
• Build the reporting capability to quickly identify when demand spikes.
• Advise sales and marketing of variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals.
• Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues.
• Director of Demand Planning reporting to the COO.
• Participate in the financial budgeting process.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with at least 7+ years of finished goods forecasting / demand planning experience.
• Bachelor's required.
• Proven track record of success in similar role.
• Experience working in the consumer products industry.
• Analytics depth including being an advanced user of Excel (i.e. understanding of table structures and Power Pivot).
