Director Of Construction Jobs

A high-end construction company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled Director of Construction to oversee unique and innovative construction projects! The company is looking for someone who is confident in their ability to manage complex projects and can hit the ground running. You will be handling various aspects of project management, including scheduling, materials delivery, design management, and pre-construction activities.

The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of commercial construction experience, preferably with time as superintendent or senior project manager. Pay Range: $120,000 - $145,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams
• Oversee design management activities
• Manage materials procurement and delivery
• Independently manage and lead commercial construction projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Collaborate with general contractors and other stakeholders
• Conduct estimating and quick takeoffs during pre-construction phases

Requirements

• Ability to work autonomously and self-manage projects with minimal support
• Experience working with general contractors
• Strong background in estimating and pre-construction activities
• Familiarity with office, retail, hospitality, or medical construction
• Experience working with design professionals, architects, and engineers is preferred
• 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably as a superintendent or senior project manager
• Proficiency with scheduling tools and software
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up construction projects of at least $30 million in value
