Director, Legal and Compliance

The Director, Legal and Compliance will offer legal counsel on risk management in healthcare and ensure that our corporate compliance program is robust and effective. You must have a proven track record of supporting in-house legal and compliance functions, as well as excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Seeking team players who can collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders. Seeking a Legal and Compliance leader to be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the legal and compliance team. You must have a strong commitment to ethical standards. The role involves leading initiatives to promote legal literacy and compliance culture, facilitating training and communication on legal and compliance matters, and collaborating with business partners to identify and mitigate risks.

• Manage a hotline system and third-party screening and other risk management programs.
• Early-stage pipeline development and pre-commercialization experience; addressing any issues and risk management.
• Assist with legal and compliance activities; review policies and procedures, and implement/deliver new compliance training programs.
• Provide legal guidance to internal clients on biopharmaceutical risks and legal compliance.

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of healthcare law topics (i.e.: GDPR, PDMA, FCA, FCPA, Sunshine Act, etc.)
• Experience in creating and presenting effective and impactful lectures and training programs.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Previous experience managing a hotline system and responding to any legal and compliance queries.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
