Job Description
The Director of Client Access Services will supervise Client Access Specialist's in various sites throughout the agency to ensure immediate access to all consumers seeking services to high quality, whole-person assessments and appropriate clinical recommendations for care.


Essential Functions - Job Specific


  • Supervise Client Access Specialist's day to day operational function
  • Follow up with consumers as needed
  • Supervise peer review processes to ensure appropriate assessment and recommendations for services are given, to provide a feedback loop for quality improvement
  • Hold regular Client Access meetings to ensure regular communication and feedback between DCCO, Senior Director of Client Access to Services, and direct line staff is established and maintained
  • Conduct and/or coordinate with Licensure/Certification Supervisor to provide regular supervision with staff (and maintain appropriate supervisory documentation)
  • Approve expense requests
  • Assist with consultation and ongoing opportunity for skills development as professionally able
  • Approve requests for PTO/Leave and approve time sheets in Kronos
  • Work with Compass Training Institute (CTI) to coordinate training of new and current staff
  • Ensure team coordination, integration of services, and provide support to the Senior Director of Client Access to Services
  • Ensure immediate consumer access to services, including consumers from internal programs and external entities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Directly supervise the Open Access process, including internal referrals and ongoing assessments
  • Conduct AIM discussions with assigned staff to develop professional goals
  • Abide by all professional, certification and corporate ethical standards
  • Work with EHR Data, Quality, and Compliance departments to identify staff in need of training and education as it relates to documentation and treatment standards
  • Review and co-sign and/or coordinate with licensure/Certification Supervisor to review and co-sign documentation for new staff (this includes notes, wellness plans, and psychological assessments) for the first 30 days of employment and/or as needed to ensure compliance with agency expectations and licensure/certification requirements
  • Direct Client Access Specialist team members in various sites throughout the agency to ensure quality assessments and effective clinical recommendations to care
  • Provide regular feedback to Client Access Specialists in need of training and education


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
  • Provide clinical consultation to staff
  • Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
  • Time card management - manages time sheets
  • Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
  • Completes performance development/AIM process


WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK

Master's degree required


At Least Five (5) Years Of Professional Experience Required


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: LPC, LCSW or LMFT valid in Missouri required
