Position Function
The Director of Championship Performance and Well-Being will lead a comprehensive health, wellness, speed, power, and performance program for Ball State University’s 19 varsity athletics teams and its 450 student-athletes.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sport Science, Kinesiology, Health Care Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.

Minimum Experience
At least five years of professional experience in a related industry.

Minimum Other

Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education
Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Sport Science, Kinesiology, Health Care Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Experience
At least seven-ten years of professional experience in a related industry.

Preferred Other
Accreditation from a nationally certified strength and conditioning organization.

Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
