Job Description

IYI is looking for a Youth Worker Well-being Coordinator who:

Youth Worker Well-being Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President of Youth Worker Well-being. Youth Worker Well-being Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of coordination and administrative support for the Youth Worker Well-being Project.


Core responsibilities will Include (but not be limited to):

  • Assists with logistics of engagement and outreach activities.
  • Follow all regulations related to projects and ensure they are in compliance with funding requirements.
  • Supports data management to measure progress against key metrics.
  • Provides technical support to vendors and grant recipients.
  • Supports the utilization of IYI Connect (Salesforce CRM) for the Youth Worker Well-being project.
  • Coordinates requests for proposals and grant programs.
  • Provides coordination and administrative support for the Youth Worker Well-being Project.


Core skills needed (but are not limited to):

  • Administrative skills needed to coordinate events, budgets, and people.
  • Project management skills such as time management, scheduling other people and coordinating locations for events.
  • Ability to multitask with several project details at once to ensure effective publicity for the organization.
  • Communication skills both excellent written and verbal

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to build long-term, trusting working relationships with diverse individuals and communities
  • High attention to detail and execution
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Ability to travel within the state of Indiana
  • Post secondary degree or credential preferred.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and to work independently with minimum direction and work as a member of a team.
  • Must have a clean driving record, valid drivers license and able to provide proof of insurance
  • Experience working with executive level leadership and other external stakeholders


Compensation and Benefits:

IYI offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $36,000 - $44,000. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range of minimum and midpoint depending on experience and in alignment with internal equity. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, covering the employee premium for the base medical plan and offering other benefits including dental and vision plans, disability, life insurance, generous vacation time, professional development, and a 403(b) plan.


Working Conditions:

We are a remote-first organization, meeting in person for mission critical events and projects, this includes monthly all-staff meetings. Although employees are located across Indiana, we maintain Eastern Standard Time office hours. To maintain safety, anyone visiting the office must upload vaccination proof and be comfortable with testing protocols.


COVID19 Vaccination Policy:

IYI requires all employees to be "up to date" with COVID-19 vaccines by your employment start date. This would include either:

  • A full primary series of an FDA-approved vaccine and at least one booster vaccine.
  • IYI will consider requests for exemptions from the vaccination policy due to medical conditions or religious belief. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination at the time of hire and/or on your first day of employment. Our vaccination protocols are subject to applicable laws and will be updated from time to time to reflect evolving conditions and federal, state, local, and other applicable health and safety guidelines.
  • Or you received the full primary series of an FDA approved vaccine in the last 5 months and are therefore not eligible to receive a booster vaccine. After the 5 months conclude, you will need to receive a booster vaccine or will no longer be "up to date".
