Work Schedule
8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required in conjunction with event schedules.

Primary Purpose of Position
  • Oversee/Assist with department informal projects.
  • Responsible for all facility setups in Jerry Richardson Stadium Complex.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Athletic Facilities and Events and Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Events, coordinate maintenance in all athletic-controlled spaces.
  • Oversees all facility maintenance issues and athletic facilities.
  • Liaison between athletics and campus FM shops and grounds (playing fields).
  • Serves as Manager on Duty of specific athletic events during cross-over season.
  • Oversees maintenance athletic department motor fleet.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Athletic Event Operations will order all supplies necessary for athletic events, particularly football and Jerry Richardson Stadium Events.
  • Oversees athletic department BES staff, Athletic Grounds Manager, Athletic Facilities Coordinator
  • Assist Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and Events in developing preventative maintenance plans for athletic facilities.

Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in trade(s) areas assigned; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from a technical college with a major in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration technology, industrial maintenance technology, or mechanical engineering technology and a minimum of three years progressive experience in facility maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties
