Description:

The Kroger Team Director will be responsible for leading and identifying multiple strategic elements in order to drive remarkable growth for our client’s businesses. As a leader of their designated business unit, the Kroger Team Director will operate in three core capacities. (1) The Director is responsible for the ownership, guidance, and facilitation of the P&L for their business unit. This includes monthly financial reviews, assessing client profitability, and leading the internal business forecasting process. (2) The Director is responsible for the strategic direction of our clients. This includes guidance and preparation for critical meetings at Kroger, in tandem with the Client Services team, for each client. (3) The Director is responsible for fostering and enabling a collaborative, unified culture within their team. This includes partnering with our People & Culture team in the efforts of recruiting, training, and reviewing teammates.


Responsibilities:

  • Including the preparation and thought leadership around key client meetings (JBP, CPI, 3CM)
  • Including leading monthly internal forecast reviews, annual business planning, and evaluating resource planning based on stated financial objectives
  • Ownership of developing and maintaining a cohesive, vibrant, collaborative team culture
  • Financial ownership & management of your designated business unit
  • This includes recruiting, hiring, facilitating training and development, and performance reviews
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Development of executive level relationships at the retailer
  • Working to consistently create relationships with key partners at Kroger which will enable us to better serve our clients and understand the strategic direction of the retailer
  • Strategic omni-channel ownership of key client development


Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve
  • Willingness to travel
  • At least 3 years of people management experience, preferably a team of at least 10 people
  • Strong leadership skills
  • At least 7 years of current experience working with Kroger
