What we are looking to hire:
The Human Resources Director/Sr. Director oversees the HR function in the Americas region. This includes being a strong business partner and strategic advisor to the Executives and leaders in the region as well as driving achievement of global initiatives, adding efficiencies, and executing Americas HR operations seamlessly. This role reports to the Chief HR role and would do hybrid work and be onsite in the mid-cities office two or so days a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement employee recognition programs.
- Some travel a few times a quarter for short trips within US.
- Ensures team maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Partners with the global HR leader and team and collaborates to proactively identify opportunities to enhance organizational performance and functionality.
- Leads employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
- Assist with the recruiting process to help close candidates.
- Will participate in integration of any domestic acquisitions if applicable.
- Oversees and at times may perform tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, payroll and leave; immigration filings, HRIS, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Leads DE&I Strategic Initiatives with global team and will work to implement locally.

Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Some domestic travel required monthly to quarterly (same day or 1-2 days away)
- Strong written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills
- PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
- Direct experience or oversight in these areas prioritized: high level compensation, benefits strategy and administration, payroll, employee relations, statutory compliance, DE&I program success, and change management.
- Flexibility in work schedule and hours to accommodate time zones for global team with early and late meetings at times.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and high degree of comfort with other MS office products such as Outlook
- Sales Commission and compensation experience is preferred.
- Ability to proficiently communicate in spoken and written form in English for business.
- Organized, strong time management, and strong drive to achieve.
- Maintain strict standard of confidentiality in handling sensitive Company information.
- CA experience is preferred.
- Global experience is prioritized.
- Professional demeanor required.
- Ability to have both early and late meetings due to time zones.
- 8-10 years'/+ experience working in Human Resources, as Business Partner, Generalist, and most recently as Strategic Leader in US market
- Able to exercise independent judgment and discretion in confidential matters of significance.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
