The Lululemon Global Styling team is dedicated to producing best-in-class performance and lifestyle outfitting. a day in the life: what you’ll do
The Director, Global Styling is responsible for defining the look and feel of lululemon global styling vision across all performance and lifestyle categories and delivering into the creation of best-in-class creative. The content this role enables will be leveraged globally (campaigns, studio, website) and inform regional styling.
Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
  • Push to elevate our Global Styling Ethos across all creative touchpoints, delivering into lululemon's uniquely ownable styling position at the intersection of performance and lifestyle.
  • Develop and define Global Category Styling Guidelines that outline the look and feel of our Global Styling approach across all men's and women's categories.
  • Advise on timelines, resources, and needs for creative projects.
  • Develop and deliver Global Seasonal Styling Direction, applying relevant trends to seasonal investments, in an effort to elevate the global styling direction and drive conversion in head-to-toe outfitting.
  • Introduce appropriate talent to the business, including a substantial roster of influential global editorial stylists and HMUA talent that drive awareness, credibility, and PR.
  • Discover and propose styling stories and creative opportunities for campaigns and digital creative, elevating lululemon's position in styling and function and enhancing conversion opportunities through best-in-class outfitting.
  • Partner closely with Creative and Marketing Directors on the development of brief and campaign creative in support of product styling and conversion opportunities.
  • Work closely with Global Merchandising and Global Design leadership to develop a strong understanding of the product vision and investment to aid the formulation of outfitting ideas and ensure that all content is both commercially and editorially viable.
  • Accountable for the management, performance, and results of multiple independent styling and styling operations teams reporting into the Director, Global Styling.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years managing, developing, and leading highly skilled and creative, independent styling teams/departments.
  • Extensive experience briefing and directing external agencies in insights, creative strategy, and project delivery.
  • Styling and creative background in athletics and editorial/fashion industries.
  • 8+ years within a Styling leadership role, responsible for directing strategy, elevating product campaign execution and delivering styling excellence.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global leadership partners in the development and advancement of strategic work.
  • Experience must include both campaign styling leadership and studio styling leadership.
  • Experience working with a global brand team on creative, strategy and guidelines. Experience and confidence in driving regional cohesion, enrollment and accepting feedback.

Compensation And Benefits Package
For California Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in California is from $145,000 – $190,400 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
