Styling Manager Jobs

Experience in fashion styling and/or visual merchandising. E-commerce styling a plus

Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal, written)

Ability to lift and move up to 49lbs and stand during shifts up to 8-10 hours long

Relevant Continuing Education; Masters in ID, Project Management, or Business preferred.

Must have previous experience proactively teaching/coaching designers in quality techniques and tools of design.

Lead new product development concept development, support new product strategy planning; coordinate new product development strategy with global counterparts.

Design innovative products to ensure functional aspects are consistent along with aesthetic needs and cost objectives of customers.

Prepare sketches, detailed drawings and design intent documentation; modify and refine designs using working models.

Review product samples for aesthetic approval.

Translate advertising and campaign assets via direction form Styling Management and style guides

Style out ahead of shoot dates with sign off from Styling Manager, or Lead.

Experience in women's fashion ecommerce and a portfolio that reflects relevant and up to date work

Brand representative and point of contact for freelancers on same set

Follow direction in brand style guide

Collaborate and communicate information to support smooth running of sets with studio teams

Manage test-kitchen pantry inventory; prepare bulk orders

Culinary degree or at least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen

Experience or high interest in a test kitchen environment

Experience or high interest in food styling for photo and video shoots

Prepare grocery orders and/or shop in person for photo and video shoots

Prep food and assist on still and video shoots

Experience in time management and deadline-driven shoot processes

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Travel requirements 30% or more of the time

Understands the global luxury landscape with the foundations of fashion styling

Willing and able to travel domestic and internationally

Familiar with Photoshop, Powerpoint, Excel, and all social media platforms

Experience must include both campaign styling leadership and studio styling leadership.

Extensive experience briefing and directing external agencies in insights, creative strategy, and project delivery.

Experience working with cross-functional global leadership partners in the development and advancement of strategic work.

·6+ years of Styling or Visual Merchandising and corporate headquarters experience with in-store retail knowledge.

·Proven Styling experience (portfolio required).

·Cultural awareness, competitive analysis, and knowledge/understanding of current runway and street trends.

·Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage relationships with team and key business partners.

·Preferred: 4-year college degree in Visual Merchandising, Art, Design, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Three years of retail and/or consumer service experience

One year of leadership experience
