  • This position is based at our National Executive Office (Hybrid) in Memphis, TN. We offer relocation support for new hires that are not currently based in the Memphis, TN area. *


The Director of Audience Strategy is a strategic audience-obsessed leader responsible for leading a team of experienced professionals to identify priority audiences with Strategic Planning and develop strategies that drive awareness, recruitment, engagement, revenue and retention. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and credibility with a proven ability to influence broadly across a matrixed organization, create engagement, and an urgent drive for results. This leader will have strong interpersonal effectiveness with an impeccable reputation for integrity, strategy, creativity and business acumen.


  • Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and performance management
  • At-scale Financial Institution experience strongly desired
  • Proven ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders of different levels, including experience presenting to senior executives with the ability to simplify complex information in a clear manner.
  • Innovative and always looking to improve everything they touch
  • Highly analytical, quantitative thinker
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years practical experience, including 3 years managing people &/or leading cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change while being comfortable with ambiguity; willingness to invest multiple years to a transformation effort
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, collaborating with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in, and negotiate with a diverse group of business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a heavily matrixed organization with a high degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited oversight.
  • A demonstrated strong working knowledge of various Martech platforms
  • Self-motivated with the ability to participate effectively in a team environment and works well with a variety of others.
  • Management consulting, or experience as a business leader tasked to drive value preferred
