Job Description
Management position out of the Store Support Center with the primary responsibility of leading a team of Industrial Engineers to ensure our network KPI’s around safety, quality, and productivity are achieved. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and executing standardization of SOP’s, improved methods, workplace layout, productivity tools, labor management standards, labor management systems for both our Traditional DC network and FRESH DC network.


  • Distribution Process – Knowledge of distribution center and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer Skills – Strong computer skills including Microsoft Tools, Warehouse Labor Management Systems, Labor Management Systems, and Power BI.
  • Data Analytics – Review trends and data to identify opportunities in productivity, throughput, quality, OTIF, and financial performance. Communicate, recommend, and implement solutions to improve performance or remove barriers.
  • Improvement Initiatives – Identify, evaluate, and implement supply chain improvements related to people, process, tools, and systems.
  • Leading and managing team of 9 DC Industrial Engineers to include development, prioritization, managing expectations, and accountability to deliver Divisional KPI’s.
  • Work Measurement – Oversee and Implement Standards and Work Measurement to develop and maintain labor management standards. Oversee the utilization and accuracy of DC labor management system.
  • Other ROI development, Equipment Review, Budgeting Process, Execute Company Initiatives.
  • Standardization & Quality – Oversee the standardization, maintenance, and implementation of standard operating procedures and employee work methods.
  • Data Analytics – Ability to gather and analyze large sets of data and interpret the data to identify opportunities and barriers.
  • Ability to develop ROI “Return on Investment” for all projects and track results.
  • Work Measurement & Labor Management – Understanding and ability to develop work measurement standards including both pre-determined (MTM, MOST, Etc.) & time studies.
  • KPI’s & Dashboarding – Ability to develop key performance indicators and develop dashboards that results in actions to support company performance.
  • Project Management – Ability to develop, align, and implement through key project management principles.
  • Management & Leadership – Ability to organize, provide direction, and lead a large team of industrial engineers to drive network KPI’s.
  • Standard Operating Procedures & Methods – Understanding and ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures, work methods, and validate execution.


Education & Experience


  • Minimum of 10+ years of practical experience in industrial engineering, work measurement, methods, distribution operations, labor management system, warehouse management systems, and project management in a distribution, manufacturing, or retail work environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred Degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of leading a team.
