Your Role: Supply Chain Associate
Are you a logistical wizard with a passion for sustainability? As a Supply Chain Associate with Silicon Ranch, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission. You'll be responsible for supporting all facets of contracting, logistics, and invoicing related to the procurement of solar modules for our groundbreaking projects. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver clean energy efficiently and sustainably.
What You'll Be Doing
Review and execute project purchase orders and assignments, including vendor identification and contract negotiations.
Provide valuable insights on cost projections, technology trends, budgets, pricing, and module-related information to internal stakeholders.
Coordinate module logistics, working closely with freight companies and managing customs clearance.
Ensure seamless integration of module details into RFPs and subcontracts.
Cultivate vendor relationships to guarantee timely and cost-effective module deliveries.
Oversee invoicing and payments, collaborating with the finance team to resolve any issues.
Analyze bid requests, highlight commercial distinctions, and make recommendations for supplier selection.
Support module warranty and breakage claims.
Develop and maintain relationships with module suppliers, navigating complex negotiations under tight deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify effective solutions to challenges.
Monitor and report on the status of inventoried modules.
Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Operational experience in adapting to evolving processes and systems.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
A coachable attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong organizational skills.
A desire to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

1+ year(s) of procurement and/or logistics experience.
