Leading and managing team of 9 DC Industrial Engineers to include development, prioritization, managing expectations, and accountability to deliver Divisional KPI’s.

Leads the selection and management of vendors to meet supply chain objectives and comply with inventory policies

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics Management, Chemistry, or equivalent is required; M.S. in Biology, Chemistry or related field is preferred

Establishes, implements, and manages procurement processes and procedures; Determines KPI’s for vendors and leads business reviews for key vendors

Directs sourcing and supplying of raw materials, utilities, and outside services, as well as coordinating global commercial and clinical procurement efforts

Works with colleagues in CMC, QA, commercial, clinical, and regulatory affairs to ensure appropriate selection and oversight of vendors

Selects, develops, and evaluates employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in supply chain management, preferably within the automotive industry.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Lead the development and implementation of inventory management strategies, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization.

Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) is mandatory.

Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management systems.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing large-scale supply chain operations.

Brings in ideas for use cases and conceptual input to shape DSC's digital data management products

Leverages own supply chain experience, newest trends on digitalization, ESG etc. to bring in improvement ideas for customer's supply chain

Strictly follows compliance and legal requirements in the approach

Supports SCI lead to build up relationships with C-level stakeholders within DHL to identify suitable target customers for transformational "insights" engagement

Translates identified transformational opportunities into an analytical approach for validation

Works with data scientists to build comprehensive business case for identified transformational opportunities
