Supply Chain Analyst

-Contract Length: 4 Months

-Hours: Fulltime

-Pay Rate: $32

-Location: Pittsburgh, PA (**Must be willing to work fully onsite)

Our client, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team! This is a 4 month, onsite position. As the Supply Chain Analyst you would be responsible for the direct procurement of materials as assigned, managing suppliers, performing inventory projections and forecasting, and maintaining supplier invoices, purchasing orders, and managing inventory discrepancies and supplier invoices.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to customer order, product availability and lead time
• Monitor and execute on-time delivery requirements to customers
• Work with suppliers to assure material is available to meet customer delivery requirements
• Manage supplier invoice reconciliation process.
• Manage supplier compliance with Corporate policies and procedures
• Perform inventory projections/forecast distribution to suppliers
• Manage key suppliers (order confirmations, expedites, cancellations, push outs, ramp up/down activities)
• Maintain purchasing records in the system (quantities, promise dates, order status, etc.)
• Ensure any inventory discrepancies are fixed in order to avoid material stoppages
• Manage procurement of direct materials and maintain the desired inventory levels

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Microsoft Office
• *Must be able to work fully onsite in Moon Township, PA
• Work effectively independently and within a team
• Excellent communications skills
• Knowledge of logistics and/or inventory principles is preferred
• An understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding purchase product, planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, warehouse operations (shipping/receiving)
• Order management and customer service experience
