Digital Merchandising Specialist Jobs

We are looking for a Digital Merchandising Specialist for a top fashion company in New York, New York. The Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for creating and improving our digital product content on Amazon and Walmart, providing consumers with the details and selling-points that will maximize online conversion for our brands. The position will provide digital product and content management support for Amazon and Walmart. The role will be directly responsible for copy-writing, PIM management, product set-up, product knowledge, and other merchandising related projects., product set-up, product knowledge, and other merchandising related projects.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quality assurance around merchandising efforts and the online product catalog
• Address end-consumer inquiries and questions about product features and benefits
• Complete online item setup forms for brand
• Lead new product listing creation on brand apparel, footwear, accessories, goggles and helmets
• Maintain product knowledge of the brand's portfolio through product training, market weeks, and other formats
• Manage current catalog to optimize listing content and organization of listings.
• Ensure access and completeness and optimization of product information for Amazon through product information feeds, content management and product set-up
• Partner with marketing and creative agencies to develop creative content for product pages.
• Support in enhancing and optimizing digital shelf presence and brand performance by leveraging analytic tools and techniques to understand which content features are most highly correlated with sales lift and search rank
• Support the timely acquisition, delivery, and tracking of digital asset and copy requests in partnership with Account Managers/Directors

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including understanding of utilizing VLOOKUPs and macros
• 2-3 years of experience working in merchandising, e-commerce or content management
• Strong understanding of the retail environment and consumer
• 1-2+ years working on Amazon seller platform
• 2-3 years of copy-writing and/or copy-editing experience
• Experience working in the optical or retail industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, or relevant experience
