Job Description
We are a medical practice specializing in minimally invasive vascular procedures, which are effective for treating a wide range of vascular conditions with 3 locations in South Florida. We are looking to hire an ambitious, multi-talented, energetic, polished professional Marketing Specialist. In addition, the ideal candidate must be dedicated, extremely organized, detail-oriented, highly driven, self-motivated and a team player.The right candidate should be highly professional with an exceptional knack for building strong relationships with healthcare practices and physicians to drive patient referrals. They should be comfortable and knowledgeable in presenting complex medical treatment information and data to varied audiences including physicians and administrators. This person should be able to leverage previous experience to complete tasks such account management, sales calls, educational marketing events, amongst other internal marketing duties.


Primary Duties And Responsibilities


Identify referral sources and maintain and grow physician referrals through on-site visits to medical offices, luncheons, dinner, networking events, community functions and patient education/outreach events that align with current strategies of the practice



  • Meeting with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments, and thanking them for existing referrals



  • Promoting high revenue procedures and surgeries while educating providers on the benefits and overall process.



  • Build strong partnerships with gate keepers in referring and prospective offices while overcoming barriers



  • Reporting on the progress weekly



  • Cold calling and building referral database



  • Identify and monitor competitor activities and efforts within the area



  • Assist with the marketing strategy and generate new and creative ideas



  • Orders marketing materials and swag for internal and external marketing



  • Create content and design graphics for social media and other marketing outlets. Should be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva



  • Provide content and manage print ad creation



  • Assist in planning and hosting of marketing related events, including dinners, networking events, conferences, and continuing education courses


    Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related field



  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with physicians/providers, medical practice office staff, or other medical specialties



  • Outgoing personality with superior oral and written communication skills



  • A willingness to travel daily and must have reliable transportation



  • Working outside of normal business hours at times



  • Results-oriented individual who strategically pursues business with energy and drive; holds him/herself accountable for achievement of assigned territory sales goals



  • Highly professional in appearance, tone and delivery and an effective communicator



  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
