The Company


Job description


The Marketing Specialist is responsible to drive the implementation of retail marketing strategies and activities that improve Tissot’s immediate revenue growth and long-term strategic positioning. We seek an individual with previous experience developing, supporting and evolving a brand’s retail image and the ability to drive quality traffic which has a propensity for conversion leveraging CRM platforms and events.


The Marketing Specialist will also coordinate the marketing campaigns and related support for the top national wholesale accounts.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and coordinate all elements of approved co-op plans; work directly with accounts to submit proper creative materials, confirm positioning and adherence to Tissot guidelines. Submit co-op proposals to Finance for approval and ensure contracts are opened in a timely manner and pay within the fiscal year. Monitor all co-op plan elements and report results
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for product launches and loyalty programs to increase the product's success rate and brand perception across Tissot's POS
  • Actively uses client data to develop retention and loyalty activities for wholesale and retail
  • Supporting all trade marketing initiatives and project development under the direction of the Marketing Manager; scheduling promotional presentations, maintaining an annual trade project calendar, and ensuring deadlines are respected
  • Designs and implements the communication process to update store managers and the boutique teams about media initiatives, editorials, product placements, partnerships, ambassadors, national initiatives
  • Monitoring competition and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Other duties as assigned by Management
  • Explores local opportunities for PR activation and amplification
  • Manage executional elements of retail events. Management and execution of event elements related to creative, promotional vehicles (social sweepstakes, E-blast), GWP, Enter-to-Win etc
  • Coordinate all media/marketing artwork requests between agencies, publications and accounts related to retail activities
  • Reports on a regular basis to senior management and HQ on results, return on investment of initiatives and best practices
  • Research, negotiate vendors for all activations
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver turn-key Trade Marketing initiatives to support sell-thru and CTA across the Tissot distribution network during key gifting seasons and none gifting season
  • Support Sales team (RSM) on all marketing activities
  • Ensures the correct application of clienteling tools and relationship business principles

Professional Requirements


Skills and Qualifications


  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint and excel including spreadsheets and flow charts), and SAP
  • Must have a working knowledge of Social Media Platforms
  • Communicating clearly, both in writing and verbally, in order to convey innovative ideas, as well as to build trust and cultivate relationships with clients, coworkers, customers, distributors, and retailers is required
  • Proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner using creativity and good judgment
  • Must have 5 or more years in the marketing field. Prior experience in a luxury goods industry is a plus
  • Must be able to travel domestic up to 30%
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects; being able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; being versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Marketing or business management
