Job Description

DIGITAL MARKETER APPRENTICE

Join a company that strives to make a difference: making education accessible. As a Digital Marketer apprentice, you’ll work on a variety of projects with colleagues spanning different countries. Learn, enhance, and apply your digital skills by working on projects across the digital marketing spectrum.


The Digital Marketer Registered Apprenticeship Program is an entry-level opportunity within OpenClassrooms geared toward building the foundations of a career as a Digital Marketer. While working and learning in this apprenticeship, you will spend four days per week in on-the-job training, and one day per week completing OpenClassrooms’ online digital marketer training path - all while earning an income! At the completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of Registered Apprenticeship Program.


Apprentice Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the utility of software or hardware technologies.
  • Update knowledge about emerging industry or technology trends.
  • Implement advertising or marketing initiatives, including digital media.
  • Write computer programming code.
  • Provide customer service to clients or users.
  • Analyze websites or related online data to track trends or usage.
  • Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
  • Collaborate with others to determine design specifications or details.
  • Design computer modeling or simulation programs.
  • Coordinate project activities with other personnel or departments.
  • Coordinate resource procurement activities.
  • Develop computer or information security policies or procedures.
  • Maintain the inventory of equipment.
  • Develop specifications or procedures for website development or maintenance.
  • Design websites or web applications.
  • Develop guidelines for system implementation.
  • Prepare graphics or other visual representations of information.
  • Develop performance metrics or standards related to information technology.
  • Analyze market or customer-related data.
  • Collaborate with others to develop or implement marketing strategies.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of work experience in advertising or digital media, including:
  • Available to commit to a 12-month apprenticeship program.
  • OR
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Discover Digital Marketing
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the right to work in the U.S.
  • Knowledge of the topics listed above, acquired through completion of some college-level coursework, a digital marketing bootcamp, or other work or school activities, such as these free OpenClassrooms’ courses:
  • Benchmark analysis
  • Online survey tools and SEO
  • Drive Traffic to Your Website With Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Experience:
  • Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (for non-native speakers, an IELTS band score of 6.5, or a TOEFL score of 80 is recommended).
  • Able to work remotely.
  • Market research
  • Landing page and email design tools
  • Conduct Design and User Research
