Digital Designer (La) Jobs

The AMP L.A. Digital Designer is responsible for the execution of creative deliverables. These responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts and developing interactive design solutions. Reporting to the Group Creative Director, the Digital Designer will work with a design lead within a collaborative team of designers, copywriters, information architects, content analysts, audio designers and production specialists. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person will demonstrate an ability to justify concepts and designs to the project team.

In this position, you are the day-to-day designer that works with internal partners and team members to develop solutions appropriate for the brand and attainable from a timeline/budget perspective (scoping).

The AMP L.A. Digital Designer is a visionary creative force that is crucial in shaping customer experiences in all current and emerging interactive media.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent design presentation and persuasion skills
• Intimate knowledge of information design, including the topology of information for the web, and user interface issues, including browser/platform constraints
• Strong design portfolio
• Animation and Illustration skills are all pluses
• Leadership abilities to foster learning and excellence among team members
• Thorough knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, and Prototyping Tools such as Proto.io, Invision, Flinto, Axure and XDCC
• Able to focus while under pressure
• Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief
• A commitment to multi-disciplinary collaboration
• Committed to the profession of visual communication
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within
• Demanding deadlines
• Experience working within a collaborative team of designers, production specialists and writers to creative

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, XML/XSL, WebGL, ARKit, WebVR
• Strong understanding of information design
• Understanding of the strengths and limitations of AnimateCC, After Effects, Premiere, Audition
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
• Takes ownership of tasks and drives tasks through to completion
• Passionate for design and creative problem solving
• Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to team members
• 3+ years of digital design experience
• Positive, constructive and is accountable for their actions
