We are the design team of Alibaba.com, the global leading B2B platform. As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will be a vital member of our team, responsible for enhancing the user experience of Alibaba.com's buyer products. Your primary focus will be on crafting seamless and intuitive user experiences that cater to the needs of global trade buyers.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and user needs.

- Collaborate closely with headquarters in Hangzhou, ensuring outstanding and consistent user experiences.

- Conceptualize and design innovative user interfaces and interaction flows for Alibaba.com's buyer products.

- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and optimize designs.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the user experience.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in user experience design with a strong focus on visual design skills.

- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch.

- A standout portfolio showcasing your expertise in user-centered design and visually appealing designs, with an emphasis on localization.

- Experience in collaborating with international teams and understanding cultural nuances is highly desirable.

- Fluent in English, proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $119,640/year and $195,600/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
