This is a terrific opportunity for an organized, creative, self-motivated individual to learn more about social media marketing and the communications industry and to gain excellent, hands-on experience.This job also offers flexibility and fun!

Timing/Hours: This internship will be approximately 15 weeks long and the hours for this position are approximately 20-24 hours a week.There is some flexibility with internship scheduling hours.

Responsibilities

·Assist in the development and creation of digital content, including but not limited to social media graphics, videos, infographics, and other multimedia materials.

·Assist in the production and editing of short videos, including filming, selecting footage, adding music, and implementing basic animations or effects.

·Collaborate with the social media team to plan, schedule, and publish engaging content on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

·Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging digital marketing strategies to inform content creation decisions.

·Ensure all created content adheres to client guidelines, maintaining consistency in messaging, tone, and visual elements.

Qualifications

·Experience using Canva

·Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud

·Have an understanding of different social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)

·Have taken a digital marketing/editing focused-course/s

·Possess very strong writing/proofreading skills

·Be very detail-oriented and organized

·Be self-motivated and be able to work well under minimal supervision

·Be able to receive credit via a school/college/university, etc.
