Digital Ads Media & Content Specialist

BluePearl is hiring for a Digital Ads Media & Content Specialist! This is a remote position.

The Digital Media & Content Specialist will work with stakeholders to recommend and produce persuasive digital marketing media and website content that engages the target audience and successfully meets the goals of the organization. Campaigns will primarily focus on increasing brand awareness, elevating the authority and reputation of the organization, enabling clients to quickly identify and get to one of our emergency pet hospitals, establishing and expanding specialty practices at our hospitals, and building a steady stream of qualified applicants for the Talent Acquisition team.

As a Digital Media & Content Specialist, you will:

• On the content marketing side, they will be adept at collaborating with others on planning and authoring articles, blog posts, and other long-form content. They will have demonstrable experience leveraging a brand style guide to write high-quality copy.
• As a member of the Digital Marketing team, they will also be required to contribute to routine tasks such as updating the website by managing content/media in the CMS and building new webpages, participating in new website development projects, updating content in the maps listings for our hospitals, various QA and proofreading, and fulfilling other digital marketing requests the team receives.
• This is a 50/50 position in that the Associate will spend time across at least two main digital marketing tactics: Content and media production for paid search/paid social media campaigns and On-brand long-form copywriting for content marketing.
• The ideal candidate will be adept at planning for paid search and paid social media campaigns including strategy, ad copywriting/media creation, landing page planning and copywriting, and directly creating landing pages in a CMS (Content Management System).

Education and Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience working with an agency or other resources who create, manage, and optimize paid search and paid social campaigns
• 3-5 years’ experience building, populating, editing, and testing webpages using the WordPress CMS
• 3-5 years’ experience leveraging a brand style guide to write high-quality copy and develop other content and media for websites
• Any experience in veterinary or human healthcare will enhance the candidates appeal, but is not required
• 3-5 years’ experience developing strategy, content and media for digital marketing campaigns in paid search and paid social media
• Any experience with the Phenom CMS will enhance the candidate's appeal, but is not required
• Familiarity with the principles of optimizing and reporting on paid search and/or paid social campaigns, but no hands-on campaign management experience is needed
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required
• Familiarity with creating reports in Google Analytics, especially GA4, to track and report on campaign performance
• Familiarity with building reports using Google Looker or other third-party tools
• Familiarity with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) guidelines as it pertains to digital content creation
• 3-5 years’ experience using Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop for producing digital assets

Qualifications

• Proficiency in campaign-based marketing testing methodologies (A/B testing, etc.)
• Ability to interface successfully with a wide range of stakeholders and problem-solve with diplomacy

• Embraces the value of documentation, planning, process, and process improvement
• Possesses in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in their area of specialization and constantly looks for ways to improve/stay up to date
• Energized by managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Excellent and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
