Description


SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE


The Digital Content Creator develops, creates and produces original graphic and video content for internal and external audiences. Content will include graphics for social media, websites, brochures, flyers, posters, signs, etc.


Key Accountabilities


Graphic/Video Design, Photography


  • Work with external print and production vendors.
  • Ensure designs maintain integrity of GKTW brand.
  • Create short videos for promotional, recap, training, etc.
  • Create design elements for both internal and external uses, including: identity, flyers, rack cards, brochures, mailers, email, signage, websites, mini-sites, apparel, merchandise, photography and logos.
  • Stay current on marketing/design industry trends and patterns.


Project Management


  • Manage projects through the design, development and review phases, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Understand and interpret design briefs to determine requirements.
  • Order and oversee production of final products.
  • Work with project management software.
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints.


Department Support


  • Provide support to all departments, as well as teammates.
  • Participate as a member of the Integrated Marketing team, which may require assignments outside of the regular scope of work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • Extended daily PC-based work.
  • Willingness to work a non-standard schedule to include weekends, nights, holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced rapidly changing technology and office environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy inventory.


Skills, Competencies, Education And Experience


  • Familiarity with Canto; Microsoft Teams, preferred.
  • Ability to communicate, understand, speak, read, write English to communicate with departments/guests/vendor participants.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases a variety of styles, types of work and strategy.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart.
  • 5 – 7 years of related professional experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent work experience.)
  • Willingness to learn and grow as a designer.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to receive and respond appropriately to constructive feedback.
  • Effectively identifies and analyzes problems, and uses creative solutions to solve problems with varying degrees of information.
  • Ability to initiate actions based on one’s own interpretation or understanding of a situation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to establish effective working relationships by adjusting approaches to meet the needs of a diverse population including staff, vendors, guests, etc.
  • Comfortable with asset management software.
  • Proficiency with design software and technologies (such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Premiere; PowerPoint and the Pre-Press Process on both Mac and PC platforms.)
  • Critical thinking.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in situations that require decisiveness, quick action and good judgement.
  • Ability to create high quality work quickly.
