Qualifications

Rad Tech:

Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program. (New Graduates must have a letter from the radiology program stating they meet graduation requirements and provide diploma within 3 months of hire if diploma is not available at time of hire)

Minimum Experience: Three to six months’ on-the-job experience preferred

Required Certification/Registration: New York State License required (New Graduates must have a temporary permit issued by NYS DOH as per NYS DOH Public Health Law Article 35 and obtain a NYS DOH License within 3 months from date of hire) , and registry A.R.R.T. required (New Graduates must obtain the ARRT registry within 3 months from date of hire).

CT/Rad Tech:

Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program. Bachelors’ degree preferred. (New Graduates must have a letter from the radiology program stating they meet graduation requirements and provide diploma within 3 months of hire if diploma is not available at time of hire).

Minimum Experience: Six months CT scan experience preferred or completion of CT training program inclusive of didactic and clinical rotation or commitment to complete the Garnet Health CT Scan training program.

Required Certification/Registration:

• NYS DOH Injection license required within 3 months from date of hire (New Graduates must have a temporary permit issued by NYS DOH as per NYS DOH Public Health Law Article 35 and obtain a NYS DOH License within 3 months from date of hire)
• BLS required within 30 days from date of hire
• ARRT (R) required (New Graduates must obtain the ARRT (R) registry within 3 months from date of hire)
• Experienced CT Scan Technologist:
• BLS required within 30 days from date of hire
• ARRT (CT) - Certification required within 12 months of hire
• ARRT (CT) Certification required within 18 months of hire
• NYS DOH Injection license - required within 3 months from date of hire
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
• New CT scan Technologist hired into the Garnet Health CT Scan Training Program:
• ARRT (R) required

Diagnostic Sonographer :

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.

Minimum Experience: One year clinical experience recommended.

Required Certification/ Registration: ARDMS Registered or Registry eligible. Must be registered within 18 months of hire date

MRI/Xray-Tech

Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program required. Bachelors’ degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

• Two years’ MRI experience desirable.
• Six months’ X-ray experience preferred.

Required Certification/Registration:

• Required Licensed in Radiologic Technology by New York State.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Required ARRT-RT and active enrollment in a MRI training program inclusive of didactic and clinical rotations with ARRT MR Registry (ARRT-MR) within 18 months of hire (MRI Registry, ARRT-MR preferable).
• NYS DOH Injection license preferred, required within 90 days from date of hire.

DI RNs

Licensure:

• Active New York State Nursing License in good standing

Education:

• Associate, Baccalaureate (preferred), Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.

Required Experience:

1 year Critical Care Emergency Department or PCU

Preferred Experience:

1 year Interventional Radiology experience

Mandatory Trainings:

ACLS, BLS, PALS
