Job Description
Job Summary


  • Adult and pediatric care (Golisano Children's Hospital).
  • Areas include inpatient, outpatient, fluoroscopy, operating room, and emergency department.
  • Performs all required quality control procedures.
  • Great working environment in a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements.
  • Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
  • Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection to assure that patients do not undergo undue radiation exposure.
  • Upstate Downtown Campus and Nappi Wellness Institute
  • Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient.


Minimum Qualifications


  • AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration and ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment)
  • One year experience as a radiologic technologist.
  • Candidates who possess an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license or eligible, and no experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position.
  • Current CPR-BLS certification required at the time of appointment.
  • Salary/title level commensurate with qualifications.

Work Days


Multiple opportunities available. Will work weekends and holidays on rotation. Depending on departmental needs, overtime may be required.
