Description – Designer
- Prepare concept design, schematic design, and design development
- Generate detailed designs and facilitate the production process
- Create innovative designs that can adapt to a variety of materials and situations meeting client requirements
- Work collaboratively with the Design Leadership in establishing format, drawing assignments, deliverables, and schedules.
- Participate and lead design charrettes with clients and PBK staff
- Function as a conduit between conceptual design process and architectural implementation
- Communicate design concepts verbally and visually
- Supervise and mentor teams of Designers assigned to project teams
- 5+ years of related design experience, preferably K-12 or Higher Education
- Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations, and vendors
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Lumion and AutoCAD
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to self-edit work and command a high level of accuracy
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Strong oral, written, and graphic English communication skills
- Hand sketching skills
- Proficient in Revit
- LEED accredited
- Design experience with large-scale commercial projects
