Design Center Consultant - New Home Builder

Residential Home Builder, William Ryan Homes, is seeking a hard-working, dedicated Design Center Consultant to join our Dallas-Ft. Worth team. The person in this position will be committed to assisting new homeowners in selecting options and interior finishes for their new home. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Guiding homeowner through selections process
• Other duties as assigned
• Scheduling appointments and file preparation
• Accurately completing all required customer selections and uploading information into company database
• Maintain an organized, user friendly, up-to-date, and comprehensive Selections Center

Qualifications

• Advanced technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel
• Ability to learn all company product lines, included features & available options.
• Knowledge of Design, Colors and Materials, understanding trends
• Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and specifications
• Ability to build and maintain good vendor relationships
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and focused on accuracy

Other Experience

• Must be able to accommodate customer needs by working flexible hours which may include nights or weekends.
• Minimum two (2) experience in the Design field, Associates Degree in Design; or equivalent experience
• Experience with residential construction database system & Envision preferred
