Job Title: Deputy Managing Director - MSP (Managed Service Provider)

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 commensurate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Deputy Managing Director for our MSP (Managed Service Provider) located in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure, O365, and Connectwise (or similar software), with AWS experience being a plus but not a requirement. As a Deputy Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and growth of the business. You will be expected to manage a small team and work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement strategic plans that support the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
• Participate in budget planning and management
• Assist the Managing Director in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives
• Manage and lead a small team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that support revenue growth
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging best practices
• Act as a technical escalation point for the team when necessary
• Provide regular reporting to the Managing Director on team performance, client satisfaction, and financial metrics
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Ensure the team is delivering high-quality services to clients, meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs)
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Qualifications:

• Experience managing a team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• MS-900, SC-300, MS-100 certification preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the MSP industry, with a strong technical background in Azure, O365, and Connectwise (or similar software), and AWS experience being a plus but not a requirement.
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, in the office. Some flexibility in working hours may be required. The Deputy Managing Director may be required to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet business needs. The role may require occasional travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
