Job Description
HARIBO of America is growing – join us! The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for collaborating between major functional internal partners to drive improvements in forecasting, reporting, and documentation of the demand forecasting and sales planning process for HARIBO of America which flows into the monthly S & OP cycle. The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the Demand Planning process to drive metric accountability, act as lead on system improvements and SAP (APO) implementation, and partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in Supply Chain, Data Management, Sales, and other teams.


Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the ideal Demand Planning Manager will have at least 4 years of Demand Planning experience withing the consumer goods industry, a Bachelor’s degree, advanced Excel skills, and prior experience using SAP APO for demand planning.

Responsibilities:


  • Leads weekly S & OE process and identification of major demand variations driving impact to inventory levels and service levels
  • Acts as lead stakeholder in development and implementation of Demand Planning tool—SAP APO
  • Acts as point person for all Demand Planning forecasting details regarding changes vs. plan, LBE, and prior year
  • Works closely with master data to drive clear and concise mapping of actuals and forecast in the business lens needed to support decision making processes internally
  • Partner with Supply Chain on order allocation, identification of inventory gasp, and drivers of large variances on forecast and impact to orders


Qualifications:


  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including v-look ups, formulas, pivot tables, etc
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • Prior experience with APO (SAP) with strong proficiency on all areas surrounding Demand Planning including master data settings
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in demand forecasting and demand planning within the consumer goods industry


Preferred Qualifications


  • 1+ years of prior supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities
  • MBA- Master’s Degree in Administration or Master’s Degree in related field
  • Excellent and accurate data entry skills, attention to detail
  • Results-driven with excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, analytical, and decision making skills
