THE ROLE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our dynamic team at St. Tropez. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the success of our supply chain operations by accurately forecasting customer demand and collaborating with various departments to ensure inventory optimization and timely product delivery. This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with two days per week in the office and one optional day, allowing for a healthy work-life balance in wonderful New York. Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and inventory strategies.
  • Participate in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to ensure demand planning alignment with company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and product and promotion performance to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present demand planning reports and KPIs to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Continuously refine and improve forecasting methodologies, tools, and processes to increase forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, sales input, stock in trade and EPOS while identifying and addressing any potential risks or opportunities.
Key Skills / Requirements :
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Power Query would be an advantage), and experience with demand planning software and tools.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
