The Large Molecule Analytical Validation (LMAV) team within Analytical Research & Development (AR&D) - MRL is seeking a candidate for a Data Management contract position available at our West Point facility. LMAV is primarily responsible for the strategic oversight and tactical operations of analytical method validation/verification for commercialization of large molecules (Biologics and Vaccines).

The desired candidate will be responsible for managing the collection, structure/format, entry and reporting of scientific data within laboratory data management systems. The candidate will further review and verify analytical data and identify process improvements for data collection and reporting for continuous improvements. Candidates should have effective organizational, multi-tasking, and oral/written communications skills.

Qualifications

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Identifies and escalates potential data gaps to manager/team lead for resolution prior to analysis.
• Interact in a multidisciplinary environment with stakeholders, collaborating with other members of a project team to meet scientific and technical goal.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement for data collection and recommend changes to workflows and procedures.
• Perform second person review and verification of scientific data.
• Manage the collection, structure/format, entry, and reporting of scientific data for various studies.

• Ability to work in a high paced team environment.
• Apply an analytical mindset with the ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
• Maintain a proactive and service-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Experience with laboratory data management systems

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science or similar field
