Summary

Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. TheData Entry/Clerical Assistantwill work onsite at JFK Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be able to communicate with all staff concerning daily operational activities including airlines system.
• Interface with Federal, State, and local agencies, primarily Customs Border Protection (CBP)
• Customer interface, including notification of General Order (GO) preparation, filing, handling customer service issues, and all other related carrier and government agency documentation as required.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and in a timely manner, following all safety rules and regulations while providing good customer service.
• Computer data entry, preparation of flight documents and acceptance and distribution of cargo in accordance with applicable air carrier and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (Import/Export).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in Data entry or related industry
• High School Diploma or G.E.D required
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Associate degree or BS degree preferred.
• Secondary School, High School or equivalent
