The Daily Caller's Check Your Fact is accepting resumes for a full-time fact check flagger to work remotely for the company. The fact check team evaluates the false, misleading and sometimes surprising claims made by political figures, as well as debunks the many falsehoods that go viral on social media.

A candidate for this role must be speedy and competent with an understanding of computer knowledge and social media. He or she must also have excellent attention to detail and a desire to consider issues from both sides.

The candidate must have excellent news judgment, with an eye for catching misinformation and a quick ability to prevent the spread of misinformation. He or she must also know how to optimize content to attract visitors from a variety of sources -- including search engines and social media.

The candidate should have a strong knowledge of U.S. policy and politics, in addition to having a great eye for potential fact checks.

The candidate will also be expected to occasionally write and report interesting fact check stories in a clear and concise manner. Most importantly, the candidate should enjoy working in a fast-moving atmosphere.

At least two to five years of professional journalism experience is preferred, but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
