At 2Mynds we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable data analytics intern to join our team. As data analytics intern, you will work in our Impact Research group. You will be tasked with assisting in planning, data gathering, data manipulation, writing and checking data analytics code in R, and developing dashboards and reports for demographic and psychometric data. Your insightful contribution will inform our impact research and ultimately our reporting tools.

This internship will help you acquire a broad data analytics experience under the supervision of researchers with decades of experience in the data analytics industry. Period of Internship: June-August

Hours: Part-time (~20 hours a week)

Location: Remote

Compensation: Based on level of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Design research and analysis strategies

• Create research and analysis plans (RAPs) for collaborative academic research and publication (for observational research as well as experimental research)

• Data manipulation in R (cleaning and optimizing)

• Writing and checking code in R for summary statistics, regression analysis, and generation of informative graphics

• Assist in advanced data analytics dashboard development

• Generate automated reports

Requirements and skills

• Good knowledge of typical research methods in community health

• Good knowledge of medical statistics

• Good skills in R

• Familiarity with or strong interest in Shiny, Data Studio, or Power BI

• Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

• Current enrollment in an academic program that involves research

• Background in high-performance sports is a bonus
