- Business Success: Your role will play a critical part in contributing to the success of the business by helping the organization make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Co-ordination: You will handle the coordination efforts related to the tools and systems, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration among different teams.
- Ongoing Support and Maintenance: You will be responsible for providing continuous support and maintenance for various tools and systems, which includes overseeing the Tableau online instance and Snowflake.
- Project Co-ordination: You will be involved in coordinating various projects, using tools like Jira and Asana to facilitate efficient project management.
- Self-Motivated and Passionate: The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, capable of self-direction, and driven by a strong passion for data analytics, stakeholder enablement, and technical career advancement.
- Roadmap Definition and Maintenance: Working closely with IT, Data Analytics Leadership team, and other stakeholders, you will define and maintain the roadmap for improvements, platform integrations, and automations.
- User License Management: Periodically remove users/desktop licenses within the client portal based on their termination date to ensure proper license allocation and cost management.
- Vendor Email Management: Maintain Vendor emails in the Tableau online instance and follow best practices in coordination with IT Ops.
- User Type Modification: Adjust user types on Tableau Online based on business needs, such as Viewer/Explorer/Creator, to ensure appropriate access levels and functionalities for different users.
- Access/Permissions Management: Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to grant them appropriate access to Tableau. Work with DA Leadership to define access policies and establish process flows for automation using Group Based Project Access (brand) and Row Level Security (central). Partner with IT ops to implement these access policies.
- Troubleshooting: Address user tickets and issues raised in production support channels related to Tableau. Examples of support requests include Extracts/Bridge not refreshing, calculations within workbook content, extensions, authentication, and credentials management.

- Knowledge Base: Maintain a knowledge base of previously answered questions related to performance optimization. Examples of past questions in the knowledge base could include:
- Tableau Extension Add-ons: Manage Tableau extension add-ons, ensuring they are up-to-date and compatible with the platform.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Collaborate with data engineering to monitor the performance of Tableau extracts and optimize the performance of workbooks and live connections.
- License Management: Manage and grant licenses for various tools, including Tableau, PyCharm, Datagrip, and any other tools needed for the data analytics team's work.
- IT Coordination: Work closely with the IT team to handle Networking, Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration, and Sailpoint Access Packages for all Data Analytics Tools. This collaboration ensures smooth and secure access to the tools for authorized users.
- Data Doctor Sessions: Organize Data Doctor Sessions where volunteers from the DA team present interesting topics related to data analytics. This fosters knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
- Manual Spend Adjustments: Enter manual spend adjustments in the relevant systems if submitted by stakeholders. This task likely relates to financial aspects of the data analytics projects.
- Asana and JIRA Ticket Management: Create JIRA tickets based on stakeholder requests from Asana, adjust Asana/JIRA boards based on ticket status, prioritize and assign tasks to the Engineering team. Additionally, handle JIRA administrative tasks, such as closing epics and performing ticket cleanup as required.
- Offshore Team Coordination: Conduct regular standup meetings with the offshore team on alternate mornings (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Address any blockers or questions they may have, and assign new tickets if the team's bandwidth allows. If necessary, communicate with stakeholders to gather additional information for ticket resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred experience or studies in Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or another related fields
- Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- 2+ years of Tableau experience
- Commitment to high quality service delivery and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to follow through with projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels within the organization.
